Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
Johns Hopkins is an excellent institution if you are into studying non-stop and if you lead a hermit-type lifestyle. If you enjoy the social scene and people that are open (that goes for professors as well as students) then you will be very disappointed. The athletics are top-notch. TA's are very strict when it comes to the grading procedure because they feel like they have something to prove. The majority of the student populace is rich and many times they let their snootiness and materialism get in the way. JHU is fairly uncaring and apathetic but I've stuck with it because i've found a few select friends that i enjoy hanging out with and I joined a fraternity, which helps me socially.
