I do not understand why I picked BU. I thought it would be better since it's in a city and I received a scholarship, but I am so disappointed. I should have gone to a state school. The weather is awful, the people are pretentious ivy-league rejects, and the grade deflation is not worth it. My chemistry class had an average of 49 on the first exam. The professor was happy that by last exam it had increased to a 61. This is not learning or teaching. A social life is hard to get especially as a freshman and the clubs seem to never be as "active" as they claim to be. I would transfer but the school screwed me over with the grade deflation. Hopefully, my GPA will raise so I may have a fighting chance. I would never recommend coming here if you want to have fun, make friends, and enjoy college which is supposed to be the best four years of your life not depressing and torturous.
