Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Make sure you know what you want to do for sure, otherwise you will end up with a huge debt by staying at the school switching to any of the limited majors they have.

However here's the lowdown…

Pro's:

Beautiful skyline

Lots of boys to choose from (if you are a girl)

Proximity to NYC

Small Classes

Decent engineering

Co-Op program

Financial Aid

Negative's:

Professors (a good number) don't speak English.

Small and disgusting dorms.

Few girls (if you are a guy)

No sense of college spirit

No football team

Brutal winters (beware if you are not used to snow and wind x100)

Not a whole lot of majors to choose from

Costly

No sense of social life…

So if you can put up 4+ years with the above negatives, good. On the other hand, if you are the kind of person that likes a big college with a football team, be warned.

It's costly and it killed my social life for 2+ years. :(

However these are my own experiences, yours might be different…

questionSo I just applied to stevens can anyone give me the run down of the school ? fun ? hard? etc…
responseFrom what I have observed and from my own personal experience, it can be quite a challenge when it comes to engineering here. Of course there are the few exceptional people that can breeze right through it. It can be rewarding though, especially if you are in the tri-state area. If you are outside, like me, not so much (recruiters are like huh?) It can be fun if you really try hard to make it fun. It's just that I see a good number of people either drop out, transfer or change their degrees at this school. But if don't mind just literally studying (to fail), sleeping, eating to consume all your time then, I'd say go for it.
