Also most important thing, the girls are soooooooooooooooo unattractive. You just proved that you never went to UO. :) Also, Architecture is a 5 year program so you should be class of '12 if you're in your 4th year… |
There are some awesome bars outside of the campus area that aren't full of burnt out hippies or "street kids". Also, I went to tons of parties, met tons of people, and did a bunch of extracurriculars when I was at UO, even though I was a total introvert in HS. I feel like you either didn't give UO a chance and were negative from the get go, or you are just a sociopath. |
Anyone who thinks that any Eugene bar is awesome has some serious issues. Either you have no idea what the word means, or you're a typical UOwe graduate. Not too bright nor articulate… |
Major: Architecture (This Major's Salary over time)
After four years here I feel like people will either really enjoy Oregon or really hate, there isn't much of a middle ground. If you enjoy smoking pot listening to instrumental bands and basically just chilling and not doing anything crazy you'll love it. However, if you want your college experience to be well rounded with partying, meeting lots of people and enjoying a lot of extracurricular activities your going to be super bummed. People from oregon rave about how much there is to do outside but the truth is that from about week 2 of fall quarter to about week 6 of spring quarter you can't do anything because its raining. The surrounding city has nothing to offer and the bars are really sketch (full of a bunch of drugged up street kids or burnt out hippies) So basically for a nightlife your stuck to the bars by campus…all 4 of them where everyone already knows each-other and aren't really into talking to different people. While people from Oregon are generally more talkative and approachable then other places, they tend to think very highly of themselves and unless you conform to what they believe in, your going to be a bit of an outcast. Its not a bad school I just feel like its very very plain and average and why settle for something like that when you should be trying to have fun and colorful college experience. Also most important thing, the girls are soooooooooooooooo unattractive.
