I think some of these negative reviews are a little too much. Let me make it brief for you: if you have any desire, any desire at all, for the normal college life (football team, fraternity parties, quads, etc.), do NOT come to this school. You won't be happy. Also don't come here if you aren't independent or feel you are going to get homesick easily. New York and NYU isn't for everybody. If you still need your mom and dad to make all your decisions for you or you still need your high school friends in order to be happy, you aren't going to like it here. There is no city like New York and if you get bored here, you aren't going to be happy anywhere. I love the independent feel, the liberal attitude, the diverse student body, being right in the middle of the city, being able to intern with some of the biggest companies in the world. That's why I love NYU.
