I applied as a journalism major but was accepted into the general studies program. Is the GSP really worth doing? |
Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
NYU is an amazing place. Don't expect pretty trees, babbling brooks and squirrels (well, actually there a lot of really fat friendly squirrels in Washington Square Park) NYU is in the most amazing location in New York. There is no where better in this entire city to live. Columbia is pretty, but the area isn't as good as NYU's area. Anyway, to really click with NYU, you have to be more mature than most College Freshmen. Things are not handed to you on a silver platter, but they are still available to those who take the initiative. NYU offers culture and art like no other college, as well as diversity and open-mindedness. Visit campus, and if you think you would enjoy living here, go for it.
