BU is an amazing place. A little pricy? definitely. But you'll meet a lot of different and really cool people. The academics, for the most part, are extraordinary. You also couldn't ask for a better city or social atmosphere. I expected everyone to hate me because I'm from the south but there is so much diversity (so well embraced) that it doesn't matter what kind of background you have.
