i finished my freshman year at BU in may, and loved boston so much that i'm staying the summer instead of going back to new jersey. a lot of people find it hard to adjust to the lack of a "real campus," since there's no "quad" or big, grass covered, tree filled area around BU…the way you have to look at it, though, is that the whole city is your campus. boston, and BU especially, have so much to offer that the lack of "campus" is hardly noticeable. as for the city in general, remember: boston is NOT new york, but it has its great points.
