GVSU most definitely helpedEducation
GVSU most definitely helped me for a career in Special Education. I graduated in 2009 and got a job one week before graduation out of state. I have had a few jobs (by choice to switch) all within teaching.

Question
GVSU sucks.BrightCriminal
GVSU sucks. Im a sophomore here and will be transfering next year for sure. My parents convinced me to come a second year here. When I say this school has no social life, I mean it has no social life. If sitting in your room, playing video games, jacking off and not being able to get drunk for you will most likely get caught is your kind of thing, than this school is for you. Like other peoples comments, It is true. People go to class here, and once class is done they go back to their place/dorm and thats that. You will catch some people at the gym or the library but they will have their headphones in and wont want to talk to you. I was told GV is a huge party school which was the biggest lie. Some people will have parties off campus but they are not open invite. The bottomn line is 90% of people here are snobby, make clicks with each other during the first couple weeks and overall feel bothered when new people try and talk to you. this campus is cringe as hell. If silecne is your thing, also you should come here. No one talks in class, on the bus, and at any food place people will keep to themselves or have very silent convos with their friends.

Grand Valley is a joke (source: everyone at Michigan Tech telling me that within three days of transferring there).
